Honestly, I didn’t expect from Freedom Call anything to make the world gasp in awe or break the so-well-establish patterns of European power metal. But I didn’t expect such a poor offering as Dimensions either. They must have drunk the same water (or whatever it was) as Hammerfall, because it’s the same feeling; at least they copy themselves; these guys don't even do that. They take, and not in a fortunate or constructive way, passages from Helloween, Blind Guardian and Rhapsody (of Fire), but end up unexpectedly at Candlemass on My Dying Paradise. I think the only songs that are worthy of some attention are Blackened Sun and Mr. Evil, followed by a ballad that is ultra-uninspired and trite, Queen of My World, as are the choirs, symphonic parts and choruses on Demons Dance, Innocent World, Dimensions etc. As background music, the album is a rather pleasant one, just what you need when you have work and want something lively around. But from not bothering the ears to releasing a valid piece of music there is such a long way... I would like to believe that the European power metal scene still has something to say, even though this won’t happen through this melodic but oh so boring Freedom Call.

Albumul asta e second best de la ei dupa parerea mea. N-o fi el original dar nici nu m-a dezamagit. Merita un 7.5 m/
