Penibil sau nu, rafinat sau nu, old-school sau nu, cand am ascultat piesa "Long Haired Punks", prima replica a fost "Venom chiar stiu sa compuna muzica!".
Totusi de notat, in episodul Metal Evolution: Shock Rock a lui Sam Dunn, vechiul tobosar al formatiei Abaddon spunea ca membrii Venom nici macar nu se considerau muzicieni, ci entertaineri. Zau ca nu stiu cum sa le abordezi muzica...
