Listen to Dodecahedron’s first track from upcoming album “kwintessens”

Dutch avant-garde / black metal musicians Dodecahedron (known as Order of the Source Below until 2011) unveil today the mysterious ways of the first published song – “Tilling The Human Soil” – from the upcoming album “kwintessens”, which is set for release on the 17th of March 2017 via Season of Mist.

“kwintessens” comes about five years after Dodecahedron’s self-titled debut album and seems to burst into some more straightforward tones and attitude given the nature of this new song. The overall sound and musical theme resemble giant creations in terms of dark expression such as Mayhem’s mind-blowing “Ordo ad Chao” or Deathspell Omega’s atmosphere in the main. At the same time, Dodecahedron’s debut track from “kwintessens” strips its structure of the aforementioned influences and brings an execution which balances various types of aggression and cosmic touches.
