Last year, Drudkh’s mastermind Roman Saenko released an album with his other project Windswept, expressing his visions of a hermit as consumed around the Eastern steppes. Now he brings a poetic piece along his Drudkh fellows, called “They Often See Dreams About the Spring”, which is now available for full streaming. Concept-wise, this 11th full-length keeps on dragging the influence from the works of the Ukrainian poets manifesting their dreams around the 20th century, such as Bohdan Ihor Antonych, Maik Yohansen or Pavlo Fylypovych.

As for the music, there’s a lot of melody on the latest “They Often See Dreams About the Spring”, which can bring a parallel to older materials such as “Autumn Aurora”, the second full-length of Drudkh, released in 2004. The newest album will be out on digipak CD, gatefold LP and cassette starting tomorrow, the 9th of march via Season of Mist.
