Tech death Florida-based group Nightmarer delivers first track from the debut album
Florida-based Nightmarer is rather an unknown name in the technical death metal scene, but it appears that this fresh year will change the situation. The band features The Ocean drummer Paul Seidel, who replaced Luc Hess in 2013 in the line-up of the German act. After the E.P. “Chasm” released last year, Nightmarer prepares to unveil the debut album on the 23rd of March, which goes under the name “Cacophony of Terror”. While “Cacophony of Darkness” would make more justice to the music of this American trio, another fact must be specified in respect of the new album and that is the presence of terrifying vocalist Alan Dubin (Gnaw, ex-Khanate), who collaborated with Nightmarer for the next to last song on the record “Death”. Up till the time when we will be able to check this track, we have the third one on “Cacophony of Terror” available for streaming as the first single, which will remind to some of you of certain passages from the French Deathspell Omega.

Our premiere track, ‘Skinner’ is the first song that we wrote for this album and it offers a mere glimpse into the abyss which is ‘Cacophony of Terror’,” stated the guys in Nightmarer. “This record tells a story of paranoia and self-destruction with no light at the end of the tunnel. ‘Skinner’ weighs heavy in bleak hopelessness, but it’s only a prelude of things far worse to come...”
