Listen to the “Soulchambers Reworked”, the newest release of Trysth
A year and a half after its debut album, Bulgarian post-metal act Trysth has just released a new project. “Soulchambers Reworked” features remixes by Environments, Modern Ghosts of The Road, Ashtoreth, Balkansky, One Tru Odd and Mytrip. It was released on March 5th as a limited edition tape by the Bulgarian DIY labels, Amek & Serpent Eve Records. The digital distribution is handled by Mahorka, which is the oldest netlabel in Bulgaria. The new material is fully available for listening and purchasing on Mahorka’s Bandcamp page.

“Soulchambers Reworked” brings about 50 minutes of dark soundscapes and atmospheric tunes. It is a very concentrated collection of musical visions in terms of compositions, feelings and sound design. The artists involved in this project rendered the whole composition by using melodic and nostalgic guitar riffs, ominous drones, doom rhythms, ambient keys, a few wicked vocals and other abstract expressions that were created through the medium of an attractive approach. Everything is like a nightmare which is totally worthy of exploration since it resembles the wasteland we call home. Alexandru Daş from Valerinne and Modern Ghosts of the Road illustrated this album, a fact which can be taken as a challenge due to the strong visual impact that “Soulchambers Reworked” possesses.
