French black metal act Glorior Belli reveals the first single taken from the upcoming album

Billy Bayou’s steadfast project Glorior Belli is well up for releasing the seventh full-length, thus keeping the tradition of launching a studio album every two or maximum three years. The title of the new disc is “The Apostates”, which obviously deals with the idea of leaving old faiths behind and focusing on new paths. Such theme goes beyond the religious topics given that Glorior Belli’s music comes unstuck and vamps up the black metal genre, bringing some good old stoner rock structures, like in the case of “Deserters of Eden”, the first single taken from “The Apostates”, which will be out on the 6th of April.

“Much has happened over the course of our 15 years of existence,” stated Glorior Belli. «Deals have been sealed and broken, notoriety built and destroyed, comradeships fixed and voided. It is a treacherous path, the one that we have chosen. “Deserters of Eden” is a song that perfectly illustrates the progression in Glorior Belli’s crusade, but not only that. This track also sparks the very first act in the denying of one’s faith, a most serious crime, such as an apostate would. This song is dedicated to all of you, who walk a similar path, struggling against bigotry and abuse of all kinds!»
