Here’s the dark new album by Carach Angren
After the Dutch Carach Angren band released a freakish video a while ago, expressing a pretty authentic horror unfolding, today we have their newest release fully available for online streaming. We could sense that Carach Angren achieved new means for their musical depiction of a rich narrative once the band released the first songs taken from the fifth full-length, named “Dance and Laugh Amongst the Rotten”. Blending metal music with symphonic elements became a risky procedure today given that many artists came to have a predisposition to kitschy exhibitons, but Carach Angren succeeds in delivering an epic atmosphere which stays pretty catchy being that the listener learns about the doomed story of a girl playing with a Ouija board. Style-wise, the overall orchestration is dark and surprising despite the very traditional background of the band.

Tomorrow, the “Dance and Laugh Amongst the Rotten” album will be released as jewel case CD, digi-box with extras or gatefold double LP in various colours.

We are incredibly proud of the result and promise that this musical horror story will unfold like a ghoulish rollercoaster ride, making every nightmare that you have had so far feel like a walk in the park, ” stated the musicians of Carach Angren. “The overall story will introduce you to different otherworldly guests and it is only until the end (spoiler alert!) that you will find out a very special clue pointing towards you, the esteemed listener of this album. Make sure to get a hold of your own personal copy in the form of a Pitch Black Box or one of the other various formats.
P.S.: Just as a hint, if you check back tomorrow, there will be a visual feast of total madness waiting for you all... ” they added.
