“Liquid Anatomy”, the latest album by experimental, progressive death metal collective Alkaloid is now streaming in full
Three years after the debut “The Malkuth Grimoire”, the experimental collective working under the chemical term Alkaloid brings new deeds up in the world. Within the same line-up consisting of drummer Hannes Grossmann (Hate Eternal, Howling Sycamore, ex-Obscura), guitarists Christian Münzner (ex-Necrophagist) and Danny Tunker (Demilich's live member, ex-Aborted), bassist Linus Klausenitzer (Obscura, live member in Thulcandra) and vocalist Morean (Dark Fortress, ex-Messenger), Alkaloid took the exploration of progressiveness and extreme music to a new level and hence the new record “Liquid Anatomy”, which you can stream in full now.

Including a continuation of their Lovecraftian lyrical theme, Alkaloid keeps on developing their musical sci-fi approach through unpredictable rhythms, nightmarish lyrics, surreal sequences, melodic explosions and all sorts of tense sections aiming to transcend the physical world. “Liquid Anatomy” will be out tomorrow, on the 18th of May as digipak CD and gatefold double LP.
